What I have up for bids here is a used vintage West Bend Power Bee 82002 engine that I just I just got in with some vintage minibike and go kart parts... Engine would be perfect for the guy who is looking for a period or model correct Power Bee engine that need work for his vintage go kart, minibike, ultralight aircraft or maybe for the guy who just needs some parts off this engine.. (1) Vintage West Bend/Chrysler Power Bee 82002 engine as shown below and above. Engine is a horizontal shaft model with a shaft diameter of 3/4" . As noted I just got this in with a lot of vintage kart/minibike parts. All parts and engines were stored in a garage for many years and the engine had not been run since according to the previous owner. This garage was attached to a house, so the garage was nice and dry and the engine was up on shelf. Engine appears to be all original that I can tell. In regard to running, according to the previous owner, originally this engine did run when stored but now the engine is semi froze up. It will turn a little bit, but I dont want to force it in case a ring is hanging up or a crank bearing is froze, so Iam selling this engine as a "Fixer Upper" needing work. Also the engine is missing the recoil, that was robbed at some point during it storage or life. The rest of the engine appears to be in good overall condition.. Below and above I have attached 8 pictures of the engine to give you a better idea of the condition, what you will getting and style of this engine. Please review before bidding.
As noted this engine came with a lot of vintage go kart and minibike parts we just obtained so I have no idea what the engine was used on originally, but from what I have came up with, this model Power Bee was used on many vintage karts, a couple of minibike, ultralight aircraft and more.
