Diesel Coolant Filter Bypass System For Ford Powerstroke F-Series 2003-2007 6.0L

Add years of life to your Ford F-250, F-350 & Excursion 6.0L diesel engine with this Water Coolant Filter Bypass System. Removing contaminates such as the casting sand and metal shavings left over from the manufacturing process means your water pump, EGR cooler and engine oil cooler will all last longer. This kit is designed to bypass and filter small amounts of coolant while your Ford Powerstroke engine is running. The CNC machined billet 6061 aluminum anodized construction filter head attaches to supplied bracket, which mounts to factory holes in your Ford truck’s chassis. The filter boss includes 2 threaded inlet ports and 1 outlet port. This coolant bypass kit includes all fittings needed for installation. We recommend replacement of the first filter at 500 miles. Replacement of the second and third filters is at 3,000 miles each. After 3 filter changes, replacement can be done once a year. The silicone hose fittings are pre-assembled for simple, leak-proof connections and are factory tested at twice the recommended radiator cap pressure. Mounting bracket installs into factory holes. No drilling is required. SKU: SD-COOLFIL-6.0 qualifies for free shipping!

Kit Includes:
  • Coolant Filter, Filter Block and Mounting Bracket
  • Silicone Coolant Lines

All necessary hardware and instructions for convenient installation. Recommended Tools: 10mm deep socket and ratchet, 11/16 open end wrench, large adjustable wrench, regular screw driver, utility knife, diagonal cutters.

    Wed, 14 Mar 2012

Lotus will take a place of pride as lead marque at June's Goodwood Festival of Speed, backed by an expected record attendance of more than 40 historic racing Lotus models. “Lotus is an incredibly important British car marque, and we plan to have maybe the greatest concentration of a single marque that we've ever had at the festival,” said Lord March, whose Goodwood historic house provides the backdrop for the four-day event beginning on June 28. Emerson Fittipaldi will be reunited with his championship-winning Lotus 72 and an early Lotus 7 race car, a type that many drivers--including British Le Mans legend Derek Bell--cut their teeth on in their formative years.
