* Read *You'll be amazed at how much comfort can come out of such a minimalist seat design! Our unique, ergonomic shaping cradles your posterior and provides more square inches of body contact for increased comfort. We build this saddle up with our high density Comfort Cell foam to provide a firm, supportive ride despite the low profile. This equates to excellent looks with a profile that hugs the chassis combined with more enjoyable time in the saddle... Form AND Function!

Hollywood Solo saddle gives a slick, low profile look that visually fits perfect with the design of the VTX-F. Our Fibertech basepan fits perfect along the tank, chassis and fender, but rides on rubber bumpers to protect your paint job. Notice how well the basepan shape follows the frame and curves along the fender struts. Comfort Cell foam and basepan material are chemically bonded in Corbin's patented manufacturing process to assure the carefully designed ergonomics remain intact with use.

Hollywood Solo comes standard with genuine leather seating in your choice of colors and styles. Leather seating is great for motorcycle saddles because it breathes with your body and will break in with the foam shape for a personalized fit. Leather is extremely durable and works great for motorcycle saddles. Over time your saddle will age and develop a unique character just like your leather jacket does. If you care for it properly with a quality conditioner like our Saddle Cream, your leather saddle will be your riding buddy for many years.

Our saddle mounts easily using stock bolt locations on your bike. Simply secure the front of the saddle in place with the premounted tongue engaging the chassis. Then lower the rear of the seat down and secure the seat in place with the two stock bolts through the Corbin seat brackets into your fender struts. Hollywood Solo is a great setup if you want to add some comfort value and keep the tough look of your VTX. The Corbin saddle provides an amazing comfort gain for such a low profile design.

New Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible revealed

Sun, 03 Mar 2013

The soft top version of the new Stingray has been revealed – the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible – ahead of a debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. But aside from issuing the two photos of the new convertible Stingray, Chevy isn’t giving anything away ahead of its debut at Geneva in a few days. But it’s not much of a stretch to expect the same 444bhp 6.2 litre under the bonnet as the regular Stingray, enough to get the Stingray to 62mph in under 4 seconds and no doubt the convertible just a shade behind.

Changan CV11

Wed, 28 Mar 2007

Changan's first MPV rolled off the production line on March 26 in China, following its preview as a concept four years ago at the Shanghai Motor Show. Since then the MPV market in China has boomed, sales in 2006 a third higher than in 2005. The package and styling of the CV11 are both euro-generic, but is interesting to see a different market embrace them so enthusiastically.

Council Street Light Switch Off Policy Challenged

Fri, 04 Jul 2014

THE AA has raised concerns over the practice of turning off street lights at night, saying that councils are "ignoring the findings of road-accident inquests" in their bid to save money. The motoring organisation cited the fact that at least five pedestrians and a cyclist have been killed since 2009 because, according to accident investigators at inquests, drivers had little or no chance of avoiding the collisions on blacked-out roads with speed limits of 40mph or higher. The AA added that although some councils have recognised the danger and turned their street lights back on, others were "ignoring inquest findings".
