This is a brass Corcoran style gas lamp, likely manufactured between 1906-12.  It might have been produced for a Ford or Buick.  This particular lamp is a side lamp that would be mounted ahead of the door just below the base of the windshield.  The small red lens would face the rear of the vehicle.   It's in good condition.  It features beveled glass with no cracks.  It has been appraised at a range between $90-$125.  Please see the photos because what you see is what you get.  •••  Bid with confidence.  See my 100% positive e-Bay rating.  

GMC to add Denali version of Acadia

Look for more bling from the rough-and-tough GMC brand. The Acadia crossover will get a Denali trim, joining the Yukon SUV and Sierra light- and heavy-duty trucks, said Lisa Hutchinson, GMC product marketing director. The Acadia will get features such as an upgraded grille, 20-inch available wheels, body-colored rocker panels, ambient lighting and interior trim.

The Nissan Qashqai n-tec 2011 with its posh new alloys We reported last week on the changes revealed for the 2011 Nissan Qashqai in Japan (the Nissan Dualis), and speculated that some of these, and perhaps others, would spill over to the Nissan Qashqai in the UK and Europe. So it was no huge surprise to get an email from Nissan this morning detailing changes to the Qashqai for 2011 in the UK. Stop/Start turns up as an option for the first time on the 1.6 litre petrol Qashqais (for £200) which, if you can get in to the habit of sticking the car in neutral and foot off the clutch every time you grind to a halt in traffic, can yield decent fuel savings.
