Core Shifters EXCLUSIVE!! Short throw shifter equivalent to discontinued Hurst 391-0121. This is a custom Core Shifters base that contains a readily available Hurst Billet Plus component set inside a custom housing. It functions exactly the same as any regular Hurst Billet Plus shifter, but is configured for the NV3500 trans (which Hurst no longer supports). This mechanism is smoother and more robust than the original Comp Plus design. Includes a dust boot cover, mounting bolts, installation instructions, and a pivot cup. Throw reduction should be around 23%. This shifter kit ONLY FITS the Getrag New Venture 3500 (NV3500) 5 speed trans, and ONLY the years mentioned here: *** Note - if your trans is not original, it could require a different shifter base. There are at least 3 different NV3500 shifter bases which vary based on shifter cup receptacle height (the part in the trans that the shifter engages). This one is for a mounting flange-to-receptacle top measurement of about 1/4" (see pic), which should fit all 1993-2006 Chevy C/K full size trucks and 1994-2000 Dodge Dakota & Ram. Knob is Hurst # 163-0125, black with engraved shift pattern, "Hurst" on sides, 3/8"-16 threads. Jam nut included. White knob also available, specify with payment. Le Mans regulations for 2014 announced
Thu, 14 Jun 2012The organisers of the Le Mans 24-hour have announced a raft of radical new rules on the eve of the 2012 race - including the less restricted use of hybrid power for the top-flight LMP1 racers from 2014. The governing ACO (Automobile Club de l'Ouest) unveiled the major changes due in two years' time as the teams start the 80th 24 Heures du Mans event which runs from Saturday 16 - Sunday 17 June 2012. In order to stay in tune with our environmentally-conscious, economically-chastened times, the focus of the alterations is to improve the efficiency of the elite LMP1 cars' technology and cement a link with roadgoing hybrids, as well as making the race cars safer.

The Coupe continues Hyundai's Fluidic Sculpture design language, this time applied to the Elantra's long and low proportions. At 4,539mm in length, 1,775mm wide, 1,435mm high and with a wheelbase of 2,700mm, the Coupe is 9mm longer and 216mm lower than the Elantra sedan.
