I bought this Corghi wheel balancer as it sits and planned to fix it myself. I am never going to find the time, so I am listing it here as it sits. It turns on fine (110V), but shows an error code 30. I found the operators manual online and it says that code means "Failure on wheel spin device". Here is the link for the manual; http://www.autoess.com/Themes/autoESS/Content/pdfs/EM8040.pdf

I only have what you see in the pics. I do not have the cones or spin handle. You have to pick this up in person. There is no shipping. CASH ONLY!

BMW Z2 at Geneva

Tue, 08 Feb 2011

BMW Z2 Spy shot snapped last year in the US The idea of a sub-Z4 roadster from BMW has been a round a while. Well, at least as long as the Z4 has. And while we have no idea if it will be called the Z2, it does seem logical.

2013 Nissan LEAF updated

Wed, 21 Nov 2012

Nissan has updated the LEAF EV in Japan for 2013 with better range, less weight and a new LEAF S entry-level model. Revealed in Japan – but likely to come to the UK from 2013 when the LEAF starts rolling out of Nissan’s Sunderland factory – there are significant upgrades to the powertrain which result in both less weight and better range. Nissan has had a play with the electric powertrain and made it both smaller and lighter with a new motor that uses 40 per cent less dysprosium (a rare earth metal) than before, and comes in 30 per cent smaller and 10 per cent lighter, and a new streamline battery case and a few other tweaks drops the LEAF’s weight by 80kg.

Audi e-Tron Spyder – The CES Star

Fri, 07 Jan 2011

Audi e-Tron Spyder at the CES Audi keep on dragging versions of their e-Tron out at any given opportunity, usually focusing on a different take on some form or other of electric and/or hybrid propulsion. Our favourite so far has been the Audi A1 e-Tron, which may seem odd to those of you who know of our penchant for the fast and exotic. But hybrid cars are best suited to urban environments – even more so electric cars – and the Audi A1 e-Tron’s combination of electric motors and a range-extending Wankel engine really floated our urban boat.
