CORSA Performance is an engineering and manufacturing company based in Berea, Ohio that specializes in high performance stainless steel exhaust systems for the marine and automotive aftermarket. Founded by Jim Browning, the company entered the marine business in 1989. Since that time CORSA has become a leader in performance marine exhaust systems and components supplying more than 60 original equipment boat manufacturers and more than 1,000 boat dealers worldwide with 1,500 different part numbers for Mercruiser and Volvo sterndrive applications. Automotive products at CORSA Performance began with C5 Corvette exhaust systems in 1998, followed quickly by systems for the C4 Corvette, Camaro/Firebird and the Viper. Today, CORSA Performance also offers premium quality stainless steel exhaust systems for Cadillac, Mustang GT, C6 Corvette (including the new 505 hp Z06), the new GTO, 300C/Magnum/Charger (including SRT-8 models) and Hummer H2/H3 vehicles. In 2001, the company also expanded its product line to include truck exhaust systems, and now offers GM, Ford and Dodge truck and SUV products, including diesels. Sat, 04 Oct 2014Rosberg beats Hamilton to pole in Japan Lewis Hamilton must have been confident of taking pole for the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka this morning after his resurgence in recent races – in the process taking the lead in the drivers F1 battle – but it wasn’t to be. Hamilton’s car needed a major front end rebuild after he ran wide and hit the barrier in final practice – which may have contributed to his qualifying result – but whatever the excuses it’s Rosberg in front of Hamilton for tomorrow’s race after posting a time 0.197s quicker than the Brit. Behind the two Mercedes cars it’s a Williams second row – with Bottas in third and Massa in fourth – followed by Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso in what is fast becoming his default place – 5th – and Daniel Ricciardo in sixth.

It may be the most venerable nameplate in motoring history, but Toyota is ditching the Corolla badge in western Europe. The latest incarnation of the Japanese family car will be unveiled at the Paris motor show in September 2006, but it won't be wearing the Corolla logo.
