THIS INSTRUMENT MEASURES THE VERTICAL ACCELERATION OF AN AIRCRAFT IN POSITIVE , OR NEGATIVE "G" UNITS . IT IS ALSO MORE PRECISELY CALLED AN ACCELEROMETER . THIS INSTRUMENT WAS MOUNTED IN A SMALL SUB-PANEL ON THE RIGHT HAND SIDE , BELOW THE MAIN PANEL ON THE CORSAIR . THE DIAL FACE & POINTERS ARE IN GREAT SHAPE , & THE MARKINGS ARE THE STANDARD NAVY STYLE FLOURESCENT YELLOW , & "MUNSELL" GREEN . IT LOOKS GREAT UNDER A BLACK LIGHT .
