This is the last of 5 Engines I rebuilt this past winter; four have sold and this is the last one I will offer:  Totally rebuilt 1962-3 (T1128V) 145 cubic inch 80 HP truck engine.  The core engine was taken out of a 1962 CORVAN that had been stored for 22 years. Engine was totally disassembled, all parts thoroughly cleaned and inspected for wear; all sheet metal stripped and repainted with Engine Hi-temp enamel paint.  The heads were given a full valve recondition service and new valve guides on four of the exhaust valves, the other two were fine as were all the intakes;  by a engine  machine shop. The Crankshaft was polished and the block was reassembled using standard bearings, and a standard GM camshaft and new lifters.  New NOS GM re-ring size rings were mounted on conditioned cast pistons and 320 reconditioned cylinders.  all engine gaskets were replaced and all O-rings were replaced using the new Hi-temp viton type.   a GM new NOS oil pump was installed, 2 rebuilt 67 carbs and a rebuilt correct distributor with double bushings for a 80 HP engine was installed. This engine was run on my test stand for approx. 4 hours and all adjustments to valves, timing, carbs and other components were made. a mechanical oil pressure gauge showed 45 psi at 650 rpm while idling on test stand with 5w-30 break in oil in engine.
please note: The Bell housing, clutch cover, flywheel, starter, generator and exhaust system is part of my test stand and does not convey with engine sale but parts  can be purchased if needed.   Buyer is responsible for picking up engine or having it shipped.  a $500 down payment is due within 24 hours after end of auction paid to PayPal with the balance paid by bank check, bank transfer or PayPal before engine is picked up.
