1975 Corvette C3 Original Luggage Rack

This is an original GM Luggage Rack that was installed at the dealership.  I have removed it from my car as it has rust spots (only on one cross bar).  The rest of rack is clean.  No dents, dings, pits, etc.  There is minor hazing on one bar.

All the black end 'bumpers' are in great shape.

Includes ALL original mounting hardware.

Note:  There is RUST on spots on one of the cross bars (see pics).

Japan quake threatens to delay U.S. output of Nissan Leaf EV

The March 11 earthquake in Japan could force Nissan to delay the start of U.S. production of its Leaf electric vehicle, now scheduled for late 2012. “The earthquake is putting us in a very difficult situation,” said Hideaki Watanabe, head of Nissan's Global Zero Emission Vehicle Business Unit.

Lamborghini Brand and Design Director steps down

According to well-placed sources within the automotive design community, Car Design News has learned that Manfred Fitzgerald, Brand and Design Director at Lamborghini, has been asked to leave the company. It is presumed his role with the company's design aspects will likely be absorbed by current Audi Group Head of Design Wolfgang Egger. Fitzgerald had been working at Lamborghini since 1999, shortly after the sports car maker was bought by parent company Volkswagen through Audi AG.
