This auction is for a 1968 Corvette, Camaro, and Chevelle starter. This starter was a cutoff part and probably would function correctly but I didn't check it and it should be rebuilt anyway before use as it has sat a long time. The part # is 1108338 and it is dated 8D29 or April 29th, 1968. The starter is complete with the original 3 hole cast iron nose and it even has the original Delco Remy numbered solonoid # 1114362, and they don't come much more complete than that. Sold as a core only for rebuilding, shipping and insurance $25.00 lower 48 states, 3 day auction only. Thanks for looking.

McLaren London: Open for business

Wed, 22 Jun 2011

McLaren London - open for business Almost exactly a year on from McLaren’s announcement that the UK will have three McLaren dealers – London, Birmingham and Manchester – the first of those dealers, McLaren London, opened for business yesterday. Operated by Jardine Motors (who may be more familiar as Lancaster), Mclaren London is the ground floor face of One Hyde Park, the mega-bucks apartment block you may best know as the building where £1 billion of apartments have been sold – but no one has moved in. Ron Dennis is probably banking on some of the owners of those apartments – including a Ukrainian Oligarch said to have paid £136 million for his apartment – popping downstairs to take a look at what McLaren has on offer – and bringing along a friend or three.

Saab 9-3 Convertible: the last of the line The final Saabs may be of sentimental value to fans of the marque, although the seven Independence Edition cars being offered for sale come in a rather challenging shade of burnt metallic orange.

McLaren 12C Concept showcases McLaren Special Operations (MSO) goodies

Mon, 09 Dec 2013

The McLaren 12C MSO Concept (pictured) highlights McLaren’s MSO upgrades Unless you’ve ever been and bought a supercar (or a high-end luxury car) new, you may not realise that the regular options list is just the starting point for individual customisation. In fact everyone, from Ferrari to Rolls Royce, will do pretty much whatever you want to your new car if your pockets are deep enough, and it’s a game – and a cash cow – McLaren are keen to make the most of. That’s why we had the extreme McLaren X-1 project a couple of years ago, but that went a lot further than most Mclaren buyers want to go with their new car.
