THIS CAME IN A NON RUNNING CAR SO I HAD A REPUTABLE TRANNY SHOP INSPECT IT AND EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT GOOD AND IS WORKING. I HAD NEW SEALS PUT IN THE FRONT AND REAR. I DID HAVE O DO A LITTLE WELD REPAIR BY THE TRANSMISSION MOUNTING BOLTS. NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT. THIS HAS 3 GROOVES ON THE FRONT SPLINE WHICH MEANS IT IS A WIDE RATIO 2.64 FIRST GEAR TRANSMISSION. The newly created R-Line trim package adds 18-inch aluminum-alloy wheels; a modified front fascia that features more aggressive styling cues; stainless-steel scuff plates; and R-Line badges to the base-level CC. VW's RNS 315 navigation system also comes standard on R-Line vehicles.

It's the first concept to emerge from under the direction of AvtoVaz's new design chief, Steve Mattin. Previously Design Director of Volvo, Mattin has a strong history with the SUV breed – it was under his direction that the XC60 was developed while at Volvo, while in his role prior to that at Mercedes-Benz, he also worked on the ML-Class.

Shelby was filling in for Sir Stiling Moss OBE, who was injured a week ago after falling into an elevator shaft at his home. The three racers regaled a packed house with stories of their careers.
