Golden, Colorado, United States

Losing judging points because your fuel injected Corvette lacks correct, high-hat, sheet metal screws attaching the S-tube to the radiator support?  Here's a matched set of four originals from the era to solve your restoration problem.

These are the ones with TALL, 1/4-inch, indented hex head configuration.  All four 'match' in terms of headmarks (double Anchor) and their black oxide plating is in GREAT shape!

Current thinking is the early FI cars used conventional sheet metal screws installed at odd angles due to the difficulty of reach.  Circa 1964, VIN 8900, the factory substituted an improved 'high hat' screw because it was easier to chuck and drive home with a pneumatic gun.

Shipping calculator presumes USPS 1st class parcel rates.  Buyer to pay $1 handling fee plus freight at cost (you can define an alternate method of shipment).  Sale to complete within 10-days of auction close.

Participants were asked to rate a series of images whilst wearing an EEG headset that measured brainwave activity.

We saw the 9-X BioHybrid concept at Geneva, and at Paris we can expect to see this car as a cabriolet version called the Saab 9-X Air Concept. The core innovation in this design is the roof which in Saab's words is: "a powered, flat-folding roof developed from a Targa top principle". Relating to this, the rear C-pillar buttresses are also unique.

Remaking the Ford Mustang

Thu, 23 Aug 2012

By the time the next-generation Ford Mustang debuts in 2014, it will have worn a decidedly retro look for nearly a decade. From the styling to the chassis to the raw power, the pony car remains a throwback and a simple, true American pleasure. Expect that mantra to continue, but the execution will evolve, moving the Mustang forward into a broader, potentially global audience as it nears a half century of performance.
