Mercedes S Class production cut as sales fall

Wed, 17 Oct 2012

Mercedes is cutting production of the range topping S Class to a one shift operation as sales fall ahead of the new 2013 S Class. But there are now plenty of signs that even premium car makers are not immune from the economic climate – particularly in Europe – as sales start to slide. New Nissan Micra DIG-S (2011): Prices & Models

Tue, 09 Aug 2011

Nissan Micra DIG-S - UK Details released It was only February when the Nissan Micra DIG-S was revealed but Nissan are now ready to let UK motorists loose in their City Car and have sent us price and model details. What we find particulary appealing about the three-pot supercharged Micra DIG-S is that it seems to offer a perfect alternative to the diesel City Car – and with much lower NOx and particulate emissions – but without the penalties in fuel economy normally associated with petrol-engined cars. Not only does it offer economy that compares favourably with a diesel-engined car of a similar size, it suffers no performance penalty either.

New SEAT Leon SC: Price from £15,370

Tue, 02 Apr 2013

The new SEAT Leon SC (3-door), which debuted at the Geneva Motor Show last month, will cost from £15,370 for the S 1.2TSI. Not only is the Leon SC cheaper than the Hatch, SEAT has gone to some trouble to differentiate the two with the SC getting a lower roofline, more steeply raked windscreen and new tailgate, as well as being 35mm shorter. Despite which the Leon SC still has decent leg and head room in the back and a boot that’s as big as the Leon hatch.
