Used parts can get better but not by much... Here's a used original Guide 3770185 interior mirror as installed on '63 Corvette.
This one came from a low mileage Chevy Super Sport and has no dents or major scratches in the housing with vitrually pristine mirror glass. The GUIDE emboss is well defined on this mirror, some were lightly embossed with the characters hard to read... Oh, don't ask about dates because the Guide version of 3770185 did NOT have dated glass. Only the mirrors from Donnelly used dated glass. The close-up of the emboss and mounting stud shows reminants of blackish-grey polishing rouge. The rear surface of the mirror needs more time on the buffing wheel to put it in factory concours condition. There ARE tiny flecks of pit which are visible when you look closely. Shipping calculator presumes USPS priority mail rates. Buyer to pay $2 handling fee plus freight at cost (you can define an alternate method of shipment). Unveiled today, the new Meriva mini-MPV premieres GM’s FlexDoor technology, designed to make it easier to climb in and out. Or just show off in the car park (delete according to your personal scepticism).Although available on one side of the Mini Clubman, the Meriva promises to democratise the suicide door, with prices from around £14,000 when UK sales start in June 2010.The rear-hinged back doors open to nearly 90deg and are claimed to help ease access to the Meriva – a promise we’ll check out when we sit in it at the 2010 Geneva motor show.

Cheap as chips – certainly for what it offered – the Hyundai Coupe was a cracking drive and actually looked rather good. Some even claimed it was trying too hard and looked too much like a Ferrari.
Coventry University MA Degree Show 2006
Fri, 15 Dec 2006MA students from UK's Coventry University Automotive Design course presented their annual MA degree exhibition earlier this month. The Show, entitled 'Icons', which this year revolved around the central theme of designing tomorrows automotive 'Icons', displayed the students' work at Coventry's Transport Museum. Patrick le Quement, Renault's senior vice president of Corporate Design presented the Corus Award for 'Best Vehicle Design', which was awarded to Dev O'Nion who won for his design concept 'Apto Sapor.' O'Nion's project - an interior design concept - was inspired by organic themes in nature - what he called 'Natural Design' - to create a harmonious interior; a blend of the natural, biological and technical.
