For sale is one used 3 door rear storage frame and door lid assembly.

For Corvettes 1968-Early 1979 (w/ 3-Door Rear Storage)

  • The assembly features the three storage fiberglass doors with their frames and hinges.
  • It is Black in color.
  • The outer frame shows some color fade, as well as some twists in a few places but there does not appear to be any cracks or breaks that we can see.
  • The grain texture is still visible with minimal smoothing.
  • The frame for the passenger's side lid is missing its front half, and also shows some cracking (see pictures).
  • All of the lid frames were screwed in place, and as a result some the screws have gone through the fiberglass and are visible when the lids are open (see pictures).
  • The carpet shows color fade, as well as thin spots but they are not completely bare (see pictures).
  • The jack stowage sticker is still attached.
  • There are no locks or keys included.
  • The mount holes appear to be in good condition, there is no mounting hardware included.

Shipping Information

We ship most items USPS, FedEx or Greyhound PackageXpress, depending upon which is most economical. Insurance is included with each package we ship. Tracking numbers will be posted to the buyers Purchase History page in eBay. Most items ship out within 1 business day but sometimes it can take 3 business days.

We will expedite an order if you need it quickly, please contact us and we can give you the expedited shipping costs and options.

If your item gets damaged in transit, please contact us immediately so we can get the things moving on a replacement.

If the tracking number for your package says it never got delivered, we will ship a replacement to you but it may take as many as 7 to 10 business days to get an insurance replacement on its way to you.

Dead on Arrival

If you have a problem with a part, please bring it to our attention. We are easy to work with but don't take to squeaky wheels very well. We will either fix it, replace it or issue a refund, whichever fixes the problem.

Wired has just published a series of short articles entitled 13 Lessons for Design's New Golden Age. While there are some interesting examples cited in the piece, the concluding article, ‘Why Getting It Wrong Is the Future of Design' by the former creative director of Wired magazine, Scott Dadich, feels like it has particular resonance for car design. Dadich's Wrong Theory uses disruptive examples from the world of art, plus his own experience of working at Wired, to explain how design goes through phases: establishing a direction, creating a set of rules that define that direction and finally someone who dares to break from that direction.
