For sale is one used trip set cable w/ mounting bracket. PN 6476812 (Cable), 3954281 (Bracket) Correct for Corvettes 1968-1977 - The assembly mounts under the lower LH dash pad and holds the LH underdash light.
- The bracket has lost most of its original plating.
- The bracket now has spots of oxidation and surface rust.
- Despite this, the bracket is in its factory shape.
- The cable has some metal on metal sound when being spun over but there are no snags or hesitations.
- It most likely will benefit from some lubricant.
- It also pushes in with ease and has a good spring return motion.
- The outer casing has rips running down it.
- No knob included.

He then proceeded to take 3,000 photos as he disassembled and rebuilt it, possibly destroying his camera but gaining a shiny new SU-equipped Triumph engine by the time he was done -- eleven months later. We get the video above despite having taken no part in the labors.

The BMW-Toyota sports-car lash-up has been reported on for a couple of years now, but new information from a report in the U.K.'s Autocar sheds more light on the future of the BMW Z4 and what this year's Toyota FT-1 concept will ultimately herald. Like the current Z4, its predecessor and the Z3 before it, as well as every generation of Supra, the new platform will feature a front-mounted gasoline engine. From there, things look to be diverging wildly as technology marches forward.
