For sale is one used pasengers side rear storage bin P/N 333578 Interchange P/N's 3963114, 362962 Correct for Corvettes 1973-Early 1979 Replacement for Corvettes 1968-1972 (6 1/4" Deep) This bin fits into the rear storage area. The inner black flocking appears to have had white paint spilled on the bottom half of the tray (see pictures). The upper lip shows some splits, tears and is a bit brittle (see pictures). It does show some color fade, as well as some staining (see pictures). The outside is in fairly good condition with no holes or water damage that will affect its structure. These bins can be reflocked. This bin is about 5" deep, it is the service replacement for the early 1968-1972 6-1/4" deep bins.

This is Volkswagen’s cleanest Mk6 Golf, a Bluemotion concept car that is claimed to achieve 74mpg while puffing out a paltry 99g/km. Those are figures on a par with today’s Polo Bluemotion, but this concept will become production reality in mid-2009.
A 1.6-litre common-rail diesel engine powers the new Golf Bluemotion, producing 104bhp and 184lb ft, but those remarkable figures are helped by revised ratios on the five-speed ‘box, optimised aerodynamics and low rolling resistance tyres. There’s also a particulate filter to keep the exhaust gases clean.

A THIRD of young people say driving is not too expensive and they will not bother to learn to drive or buy a car. A study of 17- to 25-year olds found a third (35%) had decided against driving or owning a car because of the expense involved. Many cited the cost of driving lessons as a disincentive and they also believe it is cheaper to use public transport than own a car themselves.

The fake Porsche Cayman Shooting Brake - rendered in Maya
Turns out that it was all a bit of viral fun created by Jared Holstein, the outgoing editor of TopGear.com. He came up with the idea and got a bunch of Summer Interns in the States to do the donkey work. A digital design student called Matt DuVall used Maya (a digital 3D rendering programme) to create the original image (actually, I’ve been trying to master Maya for ever – must get some tips from Matt!) which incorporated lots of Porsche design themes, and even used a Porsche ‘Mule’ license plate.
