For sale is one used 6-3/4" harmonic balancer. P/N 6272221 Correct for Corvettes 1972-1980 (350, 305) Excluding Special High Performance, 1981-1982 All Works for Chevrolet 327, 350, various small block applications 1960's-1970's - The harmonic balancer measures approximately 6-3/4" OD.
- It was removed from a 1981, and therefore had the GM Blue paint on it.
- The rubber insulation looks to be in good condition.
- It does have some checking on the surface but no dry-rotting (see pictures).
- The shaft does have some wear and a groove is starting to develop.
- It may or may not need to be sleeved.
- The keyway is in good condition.
- It may need to be rebuilt.
- The mount holes are in good condition.
- This harmonic balancer should fit vehicles listed above, however there may be more applications. Please review our listing and check your application.

But there was also a dazzling array of Chryslers, Chevys and even some Italian flair on display at the Ford Product Development Center in Dearborn, Mich for this year's event. Kevin Bertram brought an original 1969 Dodge Charger, complete with Confederate flag on top.

Craig Breedlove, the land-speed racer who set records at over 400, 500 and 600 mph has a new race car on the drawing boards and is the feature of a couple other projects. We caught up with him recently in Los Angeles. It seems Breedlove always had a car project in the works; most recently, he took the Spirit of America Formula Shell LSRV to almost 700 mph on the Black Rock Desert in 1996.

And the source for the rumour this time round was Top Gear, who we’d expect to have pretty sound sources before they spout speculation.
