Saab owner and Chinese investors continue talks regarding takeover deal
Tue, 15 Nov 2011Talks between Saab's owner Swedish Automobile and two Chinese investors on a takeover deal to rescue the ailing carmaker will continue even though a memorandum of understanding signed by the parties only runs until Tuesday, Saab said. "They (the parties) are still in discussions about the structure of the deal going forward and they are continuing their cooperation as if the memorandum of understanding continues," Gunilla Gustavs, a Saab spokeswoman, told Automotive News Europe. Ford begins Daventry site transformation
Mon, 12 May 2014FORD IS to invest millions of pounds in a new, state-of-the-art training facility on its existing site in Daventry, Northamptonshire, as part of a wider forward-looking programme. The new site will merge the capabilities of two existing Ford colleges – the Technical Training Centre located separately at Daventry, and the Henry Ford College in Loughborough, which provides training for technicians, sales staff and management throughout Ford’s national dealer network. Scheduled to open next year, the brand-new centre will replace the existing facilities to become a centre of excellence for training across the country.
