For sale is one used headlight bucket & retainer ring. P/N 5968095 Bucket, 5969466 Retainer Ring Correct for Corvettes 1984-1996 The bucket attaches to the headlight housing, and the stainless steel retainer ring holds the glass bulb assembly in place. It has some signs of wear due to it being mounted and used. The retainer bezel has some haziness and dirt that can be cleaned with fine steel wool. The housing has some oxidation and fading. Despite this, it does have most of its original finish. Both pieces are in their factory shape and have no damages due to accidents.

The Michigan Department of Transportation and Michigan International Speedway have joined forces to help in the development of a connected-vehicle system. In the future, it will help cars communicate with each other on the road to avoid crashes and increase safety. The speedway, located in Brooklyn, Mich., will allow organizations such as the Connected Vehicle Proving Center and the Center for Automotive Research to use the track as a test road for the new technology.

The Corolla brand is going the same way as Oldsmobile, Jif and Marathon – to the knacker's yard. It may be the most venerable nameplate in motoring history, but Toyota is ditching the Corolla badge in western Europe. The latest incarnation of the Japanese family car will be unveiled at the Paris motor show in September 2006, but it won't be wearing the Corolla logo.

London to develop a Hydrogen Highway
The plan is fairly small scale, but it’s a start. As part of the scheme Boris is assembling a small fleet of 150 cars, 20 black cabs and 5 buses all running on Hydrogen. In typical Boris style he said he wants Britain to become a ‘World leader in Fuel Cell Technology’ with the aim of having one in three cars in the UK running on hydrogen fuel cells in twenty years.
