BMW M3 and M4 on track, on video ahead of Detroit debut

Ahead of that, BMW has already given us plenty of the specs for both the 2014 M3 and M4. They include the arrival of a new 3.0 litre turbo engine for the M3 and M4 offering 424bhp and 369lb/ft of torque – more than the old 4.0 litre petrol could muster – attached to a manual gearbox as standard with a tweaked seven-speed dual-clutch auto as an option.

Jaguar to end XK production after 18 years

Jaguar will this summer cease production of the XK 2+2 GT car after 18 years at the top of the Coventry firm’s model range. The decision to stop making the XK comes after the hugely successful launch of the F-Type – which, say analysts, has led to a big fall in XK sales as thousands of buyers queues up to buy the F-Type. Range Rover Hybrid LWB debuts in Beijing

The Range Rover Hybrid now comes with added length We’ve already seen the Range Rover Hybrid and the LWB Range Rover, but now we get the two together with the debut of the Range Rover Hybrid LWB at the Beijing Motor Show. Just like the normal Rangie Hybrid, the LWB version comes with a 3.0 litre diesel engine coupled to an electric motor with an extra 47bhp making a total of 345bhp. It also gets extra torque – 516lb/ft.
