Golden, Colorado, United States

You're bidding on a used Delco Remy 1119515 voltage regulator as installed on 1966 Corvettes.  It's been cleaned, the base replated, cover repainted and bench exercused for calibration and operation.  Regulator comes with a no-DOA warranty (it works or you get your money back).  This part is ready to bolt on and show!

The mounting flange (close-up) is stamped  with the regulator's 1119515 part number on one side and '12V N 6D' on the opposite side.  This translates to 12-volt, negative ground and the date the regulator was assembled, April 1966.  It's a good date match for either a late production '66 Corvette or a very early production '67 car.

Shipping calculator presumes USPS priority mail delivery.  Buyer to pay $2 handling fee plus freight at cost (you can define an alternate method of shipment).   Sale to complete within 10-days of auction close.

The Britalian Job: MINI remakes the Italian Job for London 2012

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

MINI has done a remake of the Italian Job – dubbed the ‘Britalian Job – to celebrate the London 2012 Olympics. MINI always turns up interesting promo videos (not always good, but always interesting) so with BMW sponsoring the London 2012 Olympics it’s no surprise they’ve had their camcorders out. The result is something MINI are calling the ‘Britalian Job’, an homage to the classic 1960s Italian Job with the original Mini and starring Michael Caine and Noel Coward (and Benny Hill), although in truth it’s more like an homage to the later version with Charlize Theron.

EBay exotic: Pristine GMC Motorhome

Thu, 10 May 2012

This eBay listing for a 1976 GMC Motorhome started making the rounds on Twitter on Wednesday. These Oldsmobile-powered, front-wheel-drive land yachts are among the only truly beloved vintage motor homes. While other highway dinosaurs succumb to leaky windows and mounting repair bills before spending decades rotting next to garages and barns, a good many of these old GMCs have been maintained in good working order or restored.
