Condition:Used

You're bidding on a used original water pump nipple as installed on certain '63-72 Corvettes. Factory originals are said to have circular grooves or 'notches' in the flats of the nipple's hex while current reproduction nipples lack these grooves. Original nipples have been seen with single, double and triple grooves in their hex flats (supplier ID?). This is a 1-groove part.

There were several versions of water pump heater hose nipples used in this era with the configuration dependent on SB vs. BB and specific engine configuration. This version of the nipple was not used on SB A/C cars, '63-67 Sp. Hi. Performance 327 engines or '68-69 427 engines.

Nipple has 1/2-inch NPT thread to support 3/4-inch heater hose. It's been cleaned up and freshly plated, so it's ready to install and show.
