Covercraft Noah Custom Fit Car Cover has a high performance non-woven fabric with the film barrier edge for maximum dirt and dust. It is moisture resistance and one can still get the ding protection of multi-layer construction. Both outer layers are bi-component spunbond, using sheath core technology. Each individual fiber has a polypropylene inner core for strength, with a polyethylene wrap for softness. The light gray color doesn't attract heat and the fabric is treated with UV inhibitors for extended outdoor use. The micro-porous film middle layer is a breathable film and a proprietary stretch-film technology developed exclusively for Kimberly-Clark. The film is stretched and then subjected to a chemical process that creates microscopic holes smaller than droplets of water or dust, yet large enough to allow moisture vapor and heat to escape. This helps reduce the bulk of the non-woven fabric, while providing an almost solid barrier against the elements. Its soft, paint-protecting Inner layer is another bi-component spunbond made with polyethylene and nylon. The combination results in an exceptionally high strength-to-weight ratio, with the “soft touch” necessary for today's water-based paint finishes

Lamborghini Urus SUV confirmed for 2017 – again

The Lamborghini Urus SUV (pictured) has been signed-off for production by VW It’s already two years since the Lamborghini Urus SUV went from speculation to reality as a concept version arrived at the 2012 Beijing Motor Show. Since then we’ve had speculation that, apart from being underpinned by the next generation large SUV platform from VW, which will underpin everything from the Bentley Falcon SUV to the next generation Audi Q7, the Urus will probably be fitted with a twin-turbo V8 delivering around 600bhp, a take on the 4.0 litre twin turbo used by Bentley and Audi. We’ve also had confirmation from a Lamborghini source that the Urus SUV will launch in 2017 and spearhead Lamborghini’s drive to reach annual sales of 3000 cars.

Caterham AeroSeven Concept previews future production model

Hot on the stripped-down heels of the Caterham Seven 165 and Caterham 620R, the company revealed a next-generation vehicle, the AeroSeven Concept. The company’s newest road car benefitted from the entire portfolio of Caterham companies including Caterham Technology & Innovation, Caterham F1 Team, Caterham Composites and Caterham Cars. The company says the new concept hints at a future styling direction, including the new sports car that is being developed in conjunction with Renault, due in 2016.
