TECHNICAL ELEMENTS

Pistons features include a tapered pin boss to fit factory and aftermarket rods, .070 deep valve reliefs, radius bowl shape, 2mm steel gas nitride top ring, 2mm second ring, and 3mm 2 piece oil ring and Heavy duty .285 wall cold extruded chromoly wrist pins. Pistons are available in std , .020, .040 overbore in both 15 and 16 to 1 compression ratios. After a year and a half of R&D the pistons have been torture tested and withstood 1800+ Hp at the tires.

It seems to epitomise all the was impressive about the decade and – despite now being 50 years old – it still stands up as a stylish and desirable car. Not only is the E-type stylish and iconic it’s having new life breathed back in to it by companies like Eagle, who build E-Types to order from restoration projects and to a standard that surpasses the way they ever came out of British Leyland (or whatever the name of the company was that built them at the time  - there were several iterations of the BL Brand, unfortunately).

Chrysler's main creditors reach deal with U.S.; others hold out

The U.S. Treasury Department has reached a tentative debt-reduction agreement with Chrysler's main creditors but still must get other lenders to sign on for the deal to take effect, three people with knowledge of the talks said today. The accord with JPMorgan Chase, Citigroup, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley would reduce Chrysler's $6.9 billion debt to $2 billion, which would be repaid by Chrysler in cash, they said.
