Hartmut Warkuss to receive 2014 EyesOn Design Catalyst Award
Mon, 06 Jan 2014Hartmut Warkuss, former head of Volkswagen Design, will be awarded the 2014 Catalyst Award by EyesOn Design at next week's North American International Auto Show (NAIAS). Warkuss, who is credited with overseeing the design of the Bugatti Veyron, the VW Concept (new Beetle) and the Audi TT Concept, will be presented with the award by Peter Schreyer, Hyundai's president and chief design officer and the 2014 recipient of the EyesOn Design Lifetime Design Achievement Award. BMW unveils its 2012 Olympic Games pavilion
Tue, 07 Feb 2012BMW has unveiled its new pavilion for the 2012 Olympic Games in London. The winning design came from British architects Serie after bids from six companies. As the sole automotive sponsor, BMW is allowed to build a pavilion at the Olympic Park during the London 2012 Olympic & Paralympic Games and it expects to draw 8000 visitors a day.
