This is a crankshaft taken off an old Johnson 18HP outboard motor.  Part number is clear only for the 3047 ...  the next two numbers are not clear.  All other Johnson 18 HP parts I have listed come from this motor, so maybe you can figure out what the model is from the various parts. 


Road Safety Group Asks If Driving Test Is Fit For Purpose

THE Institute Of Advanced Motorists (IAM) is asking the thorny question of whether the standard driving test is still fit for purpose. This comes on the back of a new poll from Vision Critical and the IAM, which uncovered that 30% of young drivers (aged 18-25) admit to breaking the law during their first few years on the road. Furthermore, despite spending many weeks learning to pass the test, 68% of younger drivers feel that they need to improve while 25% admit to crashing.

BMW has revealed the first official details of its second-generation X3 prior to its world debut at the upcoming Paris motor show. Set to go on sale in the United States in January 2011, BMW says the new X3 will be priced close to the outgoing model. The upmarket off-roader has been completely redesigned and reengineered in a move BMW hopes will see it emulate the first-generation model's success, sales of which have now topped the 600,000 mark worldwide since its introduction in 2003.
