Jaguar Land Rover reveals huge profits growth
Mon, 11 Nov 2013Jaguar Land Rover has reported half-year profits have broken the £1 billion barrier, with profit before tax of £1.083 billion marking a massive 42% year-on-year increase. Profits in the last three months alone were £668 million, said the firm. With Goodwood finished off, it was time to collect the 1964 Giulia Sprint GT that we had committed to buy just last week. We've never bought a car to bring back to the USA before, but we see it all the time on BaT and wanted to do it ourselves so that we could learn more about the details of such a transaction.
RIP Imre Molnar
Wed, 02 Jan 2013Imre Molnar, provost of the College of Creative Studies (CCS), passed away during the holiday season. Molnar was riding his bicycle in California when he suffered a fatal heart attack on the afternoon of 28 December. CCS's President, Rick Rogers, said: "It is shocking to have Imre taken from us so suddenly.
