This listing is for one brand new, genuine Crawford Cam Timing Adjuster for Subaru DOHC Engines.

Do you have a different thickness head gasket than you motor was designed for? Have you decked your block or heads? Do you have phase one heads on a phase two block? Or do you want to adjust your cam timing to move your power band up or down?

If you said yes to any or all of the above then Crawford has a cost effective answer for you. They have been using their custom billet cam timing adjusters on shop motors for more than five years, and are now finally available to our customers!

They are CNC machined from billet 6061 aluminum and are sold individually, ready to install on your motor.

For changing timing, Crawford recommends using one adjuster for fine tuning 3-4 degrees. Moving the timing belt one tooth on the cam gears will net a 7-8 degree change. Then using the adjuster will allow the user to fine tune above or below that 7-8 degree change.

For those who have changed the math from the OEM specs of the long block - ie using different thickness head gaskets, using decked heads, using phase one heads on a phase 2 block etc - Using two adjusters will allow you to ensure timing is accurate, and each side of the engine is working harmoniously.

***ONE ADJUSTER IS NEEDED FOR ADJUSTING CAM TIMING ON OEM-SPEC LONG BLOCKS***

***TWO ADJUSTERS ARE NEEDED FOR SITUATIONS WHERE THE MATH OF THE LONG BLOCK AS BEEN CHANGED - THICKER HEAD GASKETS, DECKED HEADS...ETC***
