Juan Pablo Montoya hustles Corvette ZR1 around GM track

WITH VIDEO -- Juan Pablo Montoya's day job is to push Earnhardt Ganassi Racing's Chevy Impala around NASCAR tracks to collect trophies and points. And his extensive career includes stints in Formula One, Indy cars and Grand-AM racers. Recently, Montoya's patrons at Chevy brought him to the development track at the proving grounds in Milford, Mich.--known among fans inside the automaker as the "Lutzring." EV charging points 'to top 100,000 by 2020'

THERE will be more than 10 times the number of electric car charging points as petrol stations by 2020 – and that’s just one of the planned networks. According to POD Point CEO Erik Fairbairn, the conditions are beginning to emerge to allow electric and plug-in hybrid cars to flourish, leading to an explosion in charge point installations in the coming years that could top 100,000 just in POD Point’s own infrastructure. Still definitely not drop-dead-gorgeous - far from it – but credible enough, in a Lexus sort of way. There’s really nothing new to report on the CT 200h itself from Geneva, except that Lexus has announced that the CT200h will be sold in the US.
