Honda's third new 2012 Civic announcement - 31 August 2011 And today Honda shows us this tantalising glimpse of the rear of the new Civic, a couple of weeks before its full unveiling at the 2011 Frankfurt motor show. It reveals an interesting rump clearly inspired by the (at-the-time) space-age rear end of the outgoing Civic, with arrow-shaped back lights seguing into a horizontal spoiler which appears to bisect the rear screen. We'll see the full car on 13 September.

It seems the wave of crossovers flooding the European car market is showing no signs of subsiding here at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show – this, the Lexus LF-NX crossover concept, is the latest small SUV to join the club. You’d have thought Toyota’s luxury arm would have created an upmarket off-roader to rival the Range Rover Evoque sooner than it has – well finally, Frankfurt 2013 marks the end of that wait.

Audi UK has announced prices and availability of the Audi TT RS Plus, the go-faster variant of the already-very-fast RS version of the Audi TT. Audi TT RS Plus: I killed the last guy who called me a 'hairdresser's car' The Audi TT RS introduced the regular TT to a gobfull of turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine, along with an upgraded chassis, to deliver 335bhp to the road through the Haldex clutch branch of the Quattro family tree. With the TT TS Plus, Audi has now seen fit to grant an extra 20bhp, bumping the total to 355bhp.
