Nissan 370Z GT Edition launched
Wed, 18 May 2011The black or white Nissan 370Z GT Edition It’s not always the first thing that springs to mind when you think about Nissan, but they have had a fair chunk of success in GT racing, going all the way back to the ’70s. So with the ‘Limited Edition’ being one of the car makers’ favourite marketing tools, there is a certain logic in looking back to the ’70s for inspiration for the latest limited edition Nissan 370Z – the Nissan 370Z GT Edition. Audi A5 Coupe – the aluminium future.
Wed, 30 Sep 2009Audi has built a lightweight A5 with aluminium body. Audi has taken a standard existing steel-bodied production car as its basis and utilised Audi’s Aluminium Space Frame which reduces the weight of the car body by at least 40% compared to a conventional steel bodied car. The result on the A5 is a drop in weight of 240 lbs (not quite the complete aluminium future Jaguar are working towards).

Either way, while Cadillac catches flak for its controversial ELR ad, the above Ford ad with a C-Max Energi is either a shameless ripoff or a smashing riposte. (This, of course, depends on your affinity for European-derived plug-in crossovers.) Instead of a white guy, it's a black lady.
