Cummins 6bt Diesel Engine Marine Core Motor For Rebuild on 2040-parts.com

 This is a 1986 Cummins 6BT 210 HP marine engine. I would consider this engine a core for rebuilding, I actually know very little about it, I have never heard it run. It does turn over, and the turbo is not stuck. I removed the pan for inspection. It looks to be in good condition bottom end wise, there are no broken rods or chunks of metal that shouldn't be there. The oil drain plug is missing, and the threads will need to be repaired, there is also a piece of linkage missing of the injection pump, and there is no crossover tube from the turbo to the intake. other than that the engine is complete.

I pulled a freeze plug and the blockoff plate on the end of the exhaust manifold to inspect for corrosion, The water passages look good, I'm sure this engine has never seen salt water.

I'm relisting this engine due to the buyer changing his mind.

I will deliver this engine on a pallet to a shipping company of your choice in the Portland area. I will deliver it for free to the shipper, but you must pay for and arrange the actual shipping.

I've stated no returns on this item, obviously if there is an unforeseen problem with the engine I'm not going to stick you with it. we would have to figure something out, but I don't want to end up paying shipping 2 ways on something you don't want. Shipping can be expensive these days, so we need to make sure the engine is what you want before it goes on a truck.
