New Mercedes GLA SUV: Frankfurt 2013

The new Mercedes GLA SUV (pictured) has debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show. Mercedes may not have been exactly overwhelmingly good at producing a compact car with the old A-Class, but the new A-Class is a very good little car, and it’s rapidly spawning more variants to mop up more sales. We’ve already got the new A-Class and the swoopy-coupe Mercedes CLA and now we get the compact SUV take on the A-Class – the new Mercedes GLA.

Concept Car of the Week: Mazda Taiki (2007)

Mazda had been doing fantastically well with its concepts since the end of 2006, and its offering for the 2007 Tokyo motor show didn't buck the trend. The fourth in the 'Nagare' series that explored the idea of 'Flow, it lined up on the Mazda stand with its older brothers for the first time, and was understandably a most impressive display and one of the highlights of this show. 2012 Chevrolet Colorado revealed in production trim

Chevrolet staged the global reveal of its next-generation midsize pickup truck, called the Colorado, on Wednesday in Thailand. The company won't confirm that the truck will be sold in the United States, but according to details of the General Motors-UAW pact signed in September, a midsize truck will be assembled in Wentzville, Mo., as part of a $380 million investment. The Colorado would be a global truck and is to be sold in 60 markets, and it would replace the aging truck of the same name in the United States.
