2014 Corvette Stingray twins spotted in the wild

Sure, we've seen the new Corvette Stingray, crawled all over the C7 at car shows, seen interior 360 videos of it and maybe, just maybe, had some time behind the wheel (you'll know soon enough). But there's something special about spotting the car on public roads -- there's something even more special about spotting a pair of them nose-to-tail in rush-hour traffic. Nissan Ellure concept (2010) unveiled

The Nissan Ellure has today made its world debut at the 2010 LA auto show. Nissan's senior vice president and chief creative officer, Shiro Nakamura states that 'it's not intended as a preview of any upcoming production model' and that 'the Ellure confirms Nissan’s intention to be a strong player in the sedan segment for many years to come' An interesting u-turn, as Nissan has steadfastly pioneered niche markets over the last decade, whilst turning their back on the traditional sectors. Well, the drivetrain's worth a mention: the Ellure boasts a supercharged 2.5-litre four-cylinder with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control (one motor/two clutch design with lithium-ion battery) and 25 kW electric motor.

New VW Golf MK 7 goes on sale

The 2013 Volkswagen Golf – the Golf Mk 7 – is now on sale in the UK just weeks after its official debut at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. Volkswagen has put the new Golf – the MK 7 version of the best-selling Golf – on sale in the UK already, with first customer cars due to arrive in January 2013 – although the range is still limited. On offer to order now in the UK is the Golf S, Golf SE and Golf GT, but if you want the new Golf GTI – or a BlueMotion of 4Motion Golf  Mk 7 – you’re going to have to wait until well in to 2013 to be able to place your order.
