Custom etched windshields for your sled !!

Sled Shields: about us...

At Sled Shields, we are Harley Davidson riders designing, manufacturing and marketing custom etched windshields for Harley Davidson riders. Our windshields are made in the USA, with American materials, by Americans, for Americans!

Our proprietary process utilizes a wide variety of Military and patriotic themed artwork, which is embossed into the backside of the high quality Lexan polycarbonate windshields. The end result is a very unique and very custom "frosted" subtle and eye-catching design embossed into the windshield. Having the design embossed into the backside prevents bugs, dirt and road grime from getting into the artwork.

The top edge of each windshield is rounded and polished, for a clean finished look.

Lexan polycarbonate is the same material used by every motorcycle OEM manufacturer, because of its strength, flexibility and shatter resistance. Sled Shield windshields are also treated with an abrasion resistant coating on both sides, for additional long lasting durability.

Sled Shields utilizes a wide variety of patriotic and Military artwork designs, as well as a vast array of religious, humorous, corporate and miscellaneous designs. We have over 300 art pieces in our catalog.

We also have the ability to make custom, one-off designs utilizing your own artwork. If you have a unique company logo you'd like to see gloriously displayed on your Harley Davidson windshield, we can make it happen! We'll make you one, or one hundred! (custom work requires a small one time only setup fee)

The focus on Military and patriotic themed artwork is a direct reflection of our admiration and respect for veterans and active duty Military personnel that serve and have served our great nation. So show your pride and service to our country with a custom designed Harley windshield from Sled Shields!

This listing is for the 8" rise windshields; we offer a 6" rise windshield in a different listing.

We will ship with free shipping to the lower 48 states. Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii and/or internationally will be actual freight costs to destination.

Please specify your Harley Davidson year and model, and which artwork design works best for you.

Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV: Seoul Motor Show

Mon, 01 Apr 2013

Ssangyong has rolled out yet another SUV Concept at its home motor show in Seoul – the Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV. The Ssangyong LIV-1 SUV is another new SUV concept from Ssangyong (we’ve had the SsangYong SIV-1 at Geneva and the e-XIV EV Concept at Paris in the last six months) with a  catchy little moniker, this one a ‘Limitless Interface Vehicle, which sets the bar quite high. The LIV-1 does have a better looking nose than any of Ssangyong’s current crop of production cars (well, certainly than the Rexton and Rodius) although it does look like the designers were competing to see how many creases they could add to the bodywork of the LIV-1.

The birth of car passion: Video

Thu, 22 Dec 2011

There comes a time in a young boy's life when he can either jump into the car world head first or settle back into a life of being carted around by appliances. For some of us it's early, for most of us it's at around age 16. We think this boy will be in the former group.
