Measurements: 18.5 Wide, 29 High, 23 Deep These seats are VERY comfortable and spacious feeling for their smaller actual size! Notice the fitment in the cars and the space they allow! They worked great in the car with the tunnel (5.5" chopped and channeled model A) and had plenty of room in the other cars as well. They should work great in any 28-34 car or truck. Mounting: all you will need to do is mount the sliders to the floor or to brackets and you have fully functional sliding and folding seats. Notice in the pictures: there is a slot sewn in the side of the seat opposite of the seat belt receiver to allow lap belts to come through the seat for a show quality finish! Mahindra seem intent on turning Ssangyong from the Lada of Korea in to another South Korean car maker to be taken seriously. We’ve recently seen a big push for the Korando SX, with Ssangyong pitching it hard against the competition as the cheapest way in to a compact SUV, and at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this year we had a concept pointing to the next generation compact SUV from Ssangyong with the convertible Ssangyong XIV-2.
Audi S3 Cabriolet for 2014 Geneva Motor Show
Wed, 19 Feb 2014The Audi S3 Cabriolet will make its public debut at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show next month. The range-topping version of the new A3 Cabriolet uses the same powertrain as the S3 hatchback, Sportback and saloon variants, with a 300hp turbocharged engine driving all four wheels. Audi quotes a 0-62mph time of just 5.4 seconds for the S3 Cabriolet, which will be available to order from April, with the first UK deliveries expected in July.
Volt, Leaf win top safety rating in crash test
Tue, 26 Apr 2011The 2011 Chevrolet Volt and Nissan Leaf electric cars won the highest safety ratings in crash tests performed by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, putting them in the top 57 percent of models tested so far this year. About 80 of 140 vehicles tested among 2011-2012 models have received the Institute's "top safety pick," the group's award for state-of-the-art crash protection that exceeds federal safety rules, Institute spokesman Russ Rader said. The Volt and Leaf received a "good" rating -- the highest of four rankings -- on each of four crash tests, said the Institute, which is funded by auto insurers including State Farm, All-State and Geico.
