Nice clean pair of rust-free doors from a 1969 Cutlass 442 Sport Coupe,,,these doors are unique due to the fact that they are for a ''post sport coupe body style'',,,do NOT fit a hardtop ! Doors are in very good solid condition with no bondo or rot anywhere,,,paint is original except for some primer touch up on one door,,,Just light surface rust in a few area's, Includes hinges,,,glass and chrome trim,,,,i believe these doors also fit 1968 Cutlass's Selling doors as a pair,,,Not separating, Buyer must arrange and pay shipping out of Edmonton Alberta Canada,,,i will assist by dropping doors off Free of charge on a pallet,,,Edmonton is a major city with lots of shipping options, I'm unsure what shipping cost will be so Please don't ask,,,that's the buyers responsibility to arrange ! AutoWeek Design Forum: McLaren evolves with carbon fiber
Thu, 13 Jan 2011McLaren Automotive design boss Frank Stephenson detailed his company's transformation from strictly racing to producing road-going models on Thursday at the AutoWeek Design Forum. McLaren is launching the highly anticipated MP4-12C this year, and the company has been hard at work refining the use of carbon fiber, which it pioneered in the iconic McLaren F1. The company cut the amount of time required to design a carbon-fiber tub from 3,000 hours for the F1 to a mere four hours for the MP4-12C.
Parents 'risking kids' lives' on defective tyres
Tue, 26 Aug 2014MORE THAN 30% of parents are ferrying their most precious cargo around on illegal tyres, a new study has found. Road safety charity TyreSafe has reported that one of its members carried out a study at a Shropshire primary school, where almost a third of the cars dropping children off at school were wearing tyres that were either past their wear markers, were incorrectly inflated, had bulges or cuts, or had foreign objects sticking out of them. “The start of the new academic year means that we will be experiencing many more cars on the roads, particularly at peak times of the day,” comments Stuart Jackson, chairman, TyreSafe.
