Mon, 19 Aug 2013-- Known as the junkyard where GM dream cars went to die, Warhoops salvage yard has been sold. The yard, located not too far from GM's Warren, Mich. Tech Center, shot to stardom when four forgotten concepts -- the 1955 Cadillac LaSalle II roadster and sedan, the 1955 Chevrolet Biscayne, and the 1956 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham Town Car -- were rescued in 1988 by collector Joe Bortz in 1988.
Mercedes C-class to get expanded lineup
Mon, 15 Apr 2013Mercedes-Benz will add convertible, diesel- and hybrid-powered sedans to its C-class lineup after the car is redesigned next year. The current C-class is offered only as a sedan and coupe and only with gasoline engines. The rival BWM 3-series is sold in coupe, convertible, station wagon, diesel and hybrid versions.

Mon, 06 Feb 2006Volkswagen has revealed its latest design study, the Concept A, a crossover between sports car and SUV. Like the conceptually similar Concept T of 2004, the Concept A is based on the Golf platform, marrying coupe-like profile with raised stance. At the front, vertical vents flank the shield-grille, whose matt-silver finish is repeated on the A-posts and door-handles.
