This service is for Motorcycle, snowmobile, atv, and small engines only. I can bore anything from 38mm and up. Prices for multiple hole bored (such as a monoblock, etc) are as follows: 1 hole: $45; 2 holes: $85; 3 holes: $125; 4 holes: $155. Maximum material removal out of each hole at these prices will be .050" (1.25mm). Big bore jobs will be more and please ask for prices. I cannot bore coated cylinders (nikasil, electracoat, etc) or aluminum bores, but I can sleeve them. Typical sleeve labor is approx. $125-$135 per hole--no parts included, labor only. Buyer may supply piston with cylinder, but I highly recommend sending cylinder first, so I can measure it and give a proper recommendation on oversize. If buyer includes rings, I will check them for free. Port chamfering is also free on 2-stroke cylinders. Shipping is paid by buyer both ways. No shipping costs are included in the prices I have given. I have no idea what buyers parts weigh or what they are shipping in, It is very easy to check at UPS or USPS for pricing. Vette plant to build high-performance engines
Wed, 30 Jan 2013General Motors is moving its Performance Build Center, which let enthusiasts pay $5,000-plus to build the high-performance engine for their Chevrolet Corvette, from Michigan to the Corvette assembly plant in Bowling Green, Ky. The move is expected to be completed by spring 2014. It will let a Corvette buyer build his own engine, with help from a GM technician, and then see it installed in his car as it goes down the Bowling Green assembly line.
Mazda MX-5 with 270hp launched by BBR
Wed, 27 Nov 2013The MX-5 has always lacked one thing: power. But now, British tuner BBR is launching a turbocharged MX-5 that produces 270hp and is capable of reaching 60mph in less than 5 seconds. Based on a 2013 Mazda MX-5 2.0-litre Sport Tech Roadster Coupe, the BBR GT270 will reach 60mph in 4.9 seconds and hit an electronically limited top speed of 150mph.
Drivers 'want more traffic police'

More than half (51%) of drivers think it is unlikely that motorists will ever get picked up for texting while stopped in traffic. And 40% reckon they stand little chance of being stopped by police for aggressive driving, the poll of 1,526 drivers found.
