Bonded Dabond (polyester) thread has set the industry standard in sailmaking and canvas sewing threads. This sailmaking and canvas thread has the following characteristics; high strength & controlled stretch, stability in sunlight and resistance to needle heat, abrasion, salt-water and mildew. Our polyester thread will very seldom fray at the needle eye, and its bonded finish is so consistent that sewing machine tension does not have to be continually adjusted.

Use V-92 and a #18 or #20 needle for fabrics up to nine ounces and with Sunbrella. Note: when sewing on an Ultrafeed sewing machine with V-92 thread, a size No. 20 needle works best.

Thread quantity: 16 oz V-92 (4500 yards per spool APROX.)

Sailmaker's thread needs to be pulled up off the top of the tube. This puts an extra twist in the thread which contributes to its strength and helps to keep the thread from unlaying. It also enables a smooth feed off the top of the cone which eases tension problems.

BMW 6 Series Coupé (2012) - now in the UK The 2012 BMW 6 Series Coupe bowed in ahead of the Shanghai Motor Show back in March, and it finally arrives in the UK next week (15th October). Ahead of the arrival of BMW’s big coupe in UK showrooms, BMW has sent us a huge gallery of 6-Series photos together with price and model details specific to the UK. Three engines will be on offer in the 6-Series Coupe – at least until BMW get round to the new M6 Coupe – with two petrol engines and one diesel engine offered, although BMW expect a full 90 per cent of all 6-series coupes sold in the UK to be specified with the 3.0 litre diesel.

But it didn’t work out like that. In fact, the 2013 Belgian Grand Prix turned in to a demonstration of the powers of Sebastian Vettel and his Red Bull, as the German wasted no time taking Hamilton in the very early stages before going on to control the race from the front, and take a resounding victory with his fifth win of the season.
