Porsche will return to Le Mans LMP1 class in 2014

Porsche have announced their intention to return to top-level sports prototype racing in 2014, with a car to compete in the LMP1 class at the Le Mans 24 Hour race. Mitsubishi readies diesel Racing Lancer for Dakar

Mitsubishi is pinning all its hopes on the Racing Lancer in its bid to take an eight straight title. It's the first time a Japanese manufacturer has used a diesel car in the event, but the Europeans have competed with derv racers before.

New Ford Ranger debuts at Australia show

Ford's new Ranger pickup made its world debut today at the Australian International Motor Show in Sydney. The compact pickup truck will be sold in 180 countries. Sales begin next summer, but the new Ranger will not be sold in North America.
