Holden Hurricane returned to glory

Holden, the Australian arm of General Motors famous for its thumping V8-powered super-saloons, has lovingly restored its first-ever concept car from the late 1960s. Debuting at the 1969 Melbourne Motor Show, the sleek Hurricane concept was a mid-engine, rear-drive, two-seat sports car that embodied a variety of conceptual technologies that were years – decades even – ahead of its time. 'Smartest' UK drivers revealed

The Shell FuelSave Smarter Driving research ranked young (aged 18-30) and older motorists (aged 50-65) on their ‘smart’ and ‘not-smart’ driving behaviours towards fuel efficiency and safety – everything from smooth driving to wearing appropriate footwear behind the wheel.

Honda cuts UK production by 50 per cent

Honda (UK) cuts production Japan is slowly recovering from the earthquake and tsunami that hit on 11th March. Or at least its production is. Honda has revealed that it expects its Japanese plants to resume production of 11th April – just one month after the disaster – but initially that will be at just 50% capacity due to a shaky parts supply line.
