Dainese Laguna Seca D1 Perforated Race Suit - Size 54 on 2040-parts.com
Huntington Beach, California, United States
I am looking to sell my like-new Dainese Laguna Seca D1 perforated one-piece race
suit. I purchased the suit new in December from the Dainese Store in Costa
Mesa and used it for only one track day (less than 100 miles), with a liner underneath. It still smells brand new and has kept my closet
smelling like leather for the last couple months. This suit was just
released at the end of 2015 and features the Replaceable Slider System
(RSS) that is found on Valentino Rossi's suit (they're elbow sliders, to
clarify). The suit HAS NEVER BEEN CRASHED IN and the leather is immaculate.
Comes with a new set of knee sliders (not pictured). However, the left
elbow slider has been used. Selling at a discount from MSRP because I bought another one in a tall size and like it more. This suit retails at $1,250. As I stated above, this is
essentially a brand new suit, one of the latest and greatest from
Dainese, it has been used just once.

Awesome video of Porsche engine teardown
Tue, 09 Jul 2013If you’re considering tearing down the 3.2-liter air-cooled flat-six in your 1984-1989 Porsche 911 , this stop-motion video should help motivate you. Skipping past all the stuck fasteners, broken parts and most of the unpleasant discoveries you’ll encounter when pulling any old engine apart has a way of making a full teardown seem downright manageable. But, whether you have an old 911 or not, this video is mighty entertaining and definitely worth a look.
CAR tech: how much F1 is in the McLaren P1?
Tue, 06 Aug 2013We're forever told racing tech makes for better road cars, but is that true, even in the case of the £866,000 McLaren P1? CAR tech looks at the similarities between Jenson Button's weekend racer and McLaren's hybrid supercar: Gives you wings A Formula One car wins or loses by its aero package – and the P1’s a true aero car with a mighty set-up. It has the highest amount of downforce of any road car on sale – so you couldn’t get closer to F1 with number plates if you tried.
Mercedes SLS Black Series: The Video
Sun, 11 Nov 2012Just a couple of days on from the reveal of the new Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG Black Series, Mercedes delivers a video of their new Black Series. And the SLS Black probably gets closer to what the McLaren SLR offered than the regular SLS does, although it’s still down on the power of the SLR, and its performance to 62mph is no better and its top speed is 10mph slower. Still, even if it will cost around £200k, it’s still a big chunk cheaper than the SLR was.
