Q: When is a clock not just a clock?
A: When it is a Dakota Digital VLK Clock. The new Dakota Digital VLK clock is like a Swiss Army knife minus the spoon. When paired with the VHX Analog series instrumentation you will be able to display: Clock, Speed, RPM's, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Fuel Level and Voltage just by connecting a single cable to your VHX Control Box.

If that’s not enough to impress your buddies you can also utilize the new BIM Expansion Modules to display Gear Position, CHT, EGT, Vac/ Boost, Differential Temp, Trans Temp, Fuel Pressure, Nitrous Pressure, Compass, Ambient Air Temp, Intake Temp and Air Ride Pressure.*

*BIM modules and senders are required for the CHT/EGT, Vac/Boost, Diff Temp, Trans Temp, Fuel Pressure, Nitrous Pressure, Compass, Ambient Air Temp, Intake Temp and Air Ride Pressure readings. As a BIM Expansion module and corresponding sensor are added, these displays will also be available for viewing on the main VHX Instrument System and/ or VLK Clock.

**The VLK-40F must be used with a VHX Instrument System. The VLK clock is not compatible with VFD digital gauge clusters and will not operate as a standalone gauge.

Tue, 26 Aug 2014

By Phil McNamara First Official Pictures 26 August 2014 13:23 Nissan is revamping its 370Z range, with the spotlight on a revised flagship coupe fettled by Nissan Motorsport – or Nismo as it’s better known. Due in late 2014, the 370Z Nismo gets a new aero kit, claimed to boost downforce ‘significantly’ at speed. Out goes the 2013 Nismo’s lairy rear wing for a more subtle, 911 2.7 RS-esque ducktail affair, which works in tandem with the new front splitter to evenly split more downforce over the front and rear axles.

Ferrari 458 Speciale to debut at Frankfurt motor show

Tue, 20 Aug 2013

Update: Preview video added below, and yes, you can hear the car's engine -- barely -- through the thumping movie trailer-like music. A new Prancing Horse is set to go public at the 2013 Frankfurt motor show: Ferrari will use the event to introduce the 458 Speciale, which will join the 458 Italia and 458 Spider at the lower end of Ferrari's range. Visually, the 2,844 lb., mid-engined 458 Speciale doesn't depart too much from the 458 Italia, though the new model gets a more aggressive fascia and a massive hood duct that -- when coupled with an apparently F1-inspired interior -- hints at the no-nonsense sporting purpose of the car.
