VHX Systems fit directly into the stock instrument bezel of a 1968-70 Dodge Charger/Super Bee, 1969-70 Coronet, 1970 Plymouth GTX/Roadrunner without modification, adding a wealth of features to this iconic vehicle. *Fits stock bezel, bezel is not included. Bezel used is for representation purposes only. The all-new rear machined aluminum gauge housing attaches directly to the inner stock dash, offering mounting points for all of the factory switches and components, allowing the factory plastic gauge bezel to lay over the topside just like the OEM arrangement.Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers are a few of the things that you can see which set the VHX Series apart from yesterday’s traditional approach to instrumentation. VHX System Includes: Analog Gauges
Speedometer - 0-160 MPH (optional metric version 0-255 kmh) Lighting - Back lit technology is popular with performance instrumentation due to precise lighting allowing you see what is truly important when you really need it at a quick glance. Each number, tick mark, annunciator, needle, indicator and digital message center is lit by a series of LEDs behind the gauge face. Digital Message CenterStandard Displays: Odometer (One time user settable, Million Mile) Performance Meters: 0-60 MPH Timer (0-100 kmh) Gauges: Speedometer (0-255 MPH / KM/H) Lighting:
Turn Signals (Left/ Right) Included Sensors:
Water Temperature - 1/8" NPT, ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness. Oil Pressure - 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness. Cable Drive Speed Sensor/Generator - Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness (Tremec and Ford style adapters available upon request). Bushings - Each kit comes with 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads. Calibration Pushbutton - Dakota Digital instruments are programmed and operated by the push of a button. Simply mount the included pushbuttons supplied with your gauges in a convenient and easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count and the fuel level gauge. Once properly configured these same buttons are used to access the wealth of information located in the Digital Message Centers. More

In the year 2000, I was 24 years old and was working on a punk rock magazine, an environment not dissimilar from Gordon's Championship Vinyl. The line made a lot of sense to me; it was a quiet, back-of-the-head maxim that informed much of what my friends and I did and how we saw people. It's a shallow way of looking at things, but for those of us who came of age amid the us-vs.-them liberal identity politics of the '90s, awash as we were in Public Enemy's political consciousness, the post-AIDS gay-rights push and the loud-fast feminism of the riot grrrl movement, there was a good chance that if somebody liked the things you liked, they thought like you and they were good.

Wed, 08 May 2013We're not sure how this awesome 360-degree look at the new Corvette interior flew under our radar for so long, but we're loving the full driver's view of the 2014 Stingray taken at the Chicago Auto Show. The massive improvements in the Corvette's interior are on full display, with the red leather and carbon-fiber accents adding just the right amount of Bad MoFo to what's an otherwise luxurious cockpit. Stay tuned: We're expecting to get our hands on the new Corvette this summer, and we'll bring you a full drive report as soon as we wipe the grins off our faces.
