Lotus to build own V8 for Lotus ‘More Authentic’ than 458 or MP4-12C

New Lotus Esprit will get a Lotus developed V8 We thought Lotus were mad brave to announce to the world last year that they were turning themselves in to an East Anglian Aston Martin with a completely new range of much more expensive cars. But now we hear they’re also going to produce their own V8 engine. Wow.

Skoda to launch Superb estate, 4x4 and MPV

By Georg Kacher Motor Industry 21 July 2008 09:46 Volkswagen's budget brand Skoda will gain a raft of new models in the next few years, CAR Online can reveal.  Leading the product expansion is an estate version of the new Superb which will cost less than a Passat wagon but offer more bootspace than a Mercedes E-class estate. Expect the big Superb in 2009. We've also unearthed more details on the new Skoda Yeti crossover that also comes in 2009.

Audi Q5 (2008) unveiled

Which speaks volumes about its intent.Unsurprisingly, that means it's aimed squarely at on-road performance, where it will shuttle five occupants around in - you'd imagine - saloon car comfort.
