Programmable Fan Controller 70 amp - PAC-2750

from Dakota Digital

The PAC-2750 was designed for the ultimate in flexibility and to be a simple add-on in any application using an electric fan. Included is a 70amp relay, enough for even the most power hungry of cooling fans. Fully programmable, the PAC-2750 will work with your existing water temp gauge, operating from the temperature sending unit already installed. A dedicated sending unit can be installed for applications without a water temp gauge. OBD II compatible vehicles can obtain the engine temperature from the ECM with the use of a BIM-01-2 (or previous BIM-01-1), sold separately.

When used in conjunction with BIM-compatible Dakota Digital instrumentation, a single-cable transfers speed and temperature data to the VFD3/VHX Control Module, allowing the fan to be shut off at an adjustable highway speed!

The PAC-2750 features fully programmable “fan on” and “fan off” temperatures to suit any application or personal preferences. The PAC-2750 has the capability to leave the electric fan operating after the engine has been shut down for a user adjustable time. The PAC-2750 offers a full digital LED readout for displaying temperature readings and maintaining simple installation. A second relay is required for dual fan or two speed fan operation.

Box measures 4" wide, 2.5" high, 1" thick. Mounting is recommended inside the cab of the vehicle or an alternate dry environment.

Fan Temperature Selection Range: 150F- 250F

**The use of a second relay RLY-1 (0-30 amp) or RLY-3 (0-70 amp) (not included, sold separately) will be required for dual fan or two speed fan operation.

The PAC-2750 features a 24-month warranty against manufacturer defects!

The following optional items can also be ordered at additional cost (sold separately in our store):

RLY-1: for dual fan applications, 30 amp relay - $9.95
RLY-3: for dual fan applications, 70 amp relay - $29.95

Concept Car of the Week: Toyota EX-1 (1969)

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

Back in the 60s, Toyota launched a few iconic sports cars such as the 800 and the gorgeous 2000 GT. Not happy to have created automotive perfection with the latter, the Japanese brand went on to explore even more extravagant shapes and unveiled the first of the EX concepts series in 1969. While its bold lines are truly Japanese, the EX-1 looked like the missing link between the fast silhouette of a 1967 Maserati Ghibli and the hairy-chested heft of a Dodge Challenger.

Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Convertible Leaks

Tue, 09 Apr 2013

It looks like the ‘New’ Bugatti promised yesterday is the Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse World Record Convertible, not the ‘Super’ Veyron. We should have known. Yesterday we reported that Bugatti are teasing ’the latest example of exceptional Bugatti performance’, which we thought might be the much touted ‘Super’ Veyron offering 1600hp.

Spy photog Brenda Priddy gets a turn in front of the camera lens

Thu, 20 Aug 2009

Why would anyone be willing to spend more than two months every summer crisscrossing the desert in the Southwest? Well, if you're spy photographer Brenda Priddy, it's because you're hunting Rabbits, and sports cars, and SUVs and occassionally minivans. Priddy, whose work appears here at autoweek.com and in AutoWeek magazine as well as in our sister publication Automotive News and other outlets, took a turn in front of the lens recently.
