from Dakota DigitalVHX-1100 The VHX-1100 is a whole new breed of instrument system. Created as a crossover between the pure function of race gauges and the usability of street instrumentation, this system provides the best of both. With a 0-160 MPH Speedometer, a 0-10,000 RPM Tach and large-sweep Oil Pressure and Temperature gauges, even the most radical of applications are covered. Four programmable, digital message centers allow for nearly unlimited expansion. Race-bred from the start, VHX-1100 puts an emphasis on the engine RPM and vehicle speed while dedicated oil and water instruments flank each side. Dual LCD message centers allow four digital readings at one time for the utmost in driver awareness. Measuring 5.5" tall, 10.25" wide, 2" deep. The billet aluminum faceplate is powdercoated flat-black and features intricate machining to create a unique multi-layered look. Measuring 10.75" x 6" (10.25" x 5-1/2" cutout) overall, this compact package also sports exposed stainless steel hardware to round out the competition styling. Fully lit needles, backlit faces, and highly visible LCD message centers are a few of the things that you can see which set the VHX Series apart from yesterday’s traditional approach to instrumentation. A few of the features which you don’t normally see are the micro-controlled precision stepper motors, solid state sensors for unparalleled accuracy, and user-customizable display feedback, all supported by an unrivaled limited lifetime warranty which has become the standard for Dakota Digital instrumentation systems. Completely engineered and manufactured at their facility in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the VHX Series has completely revolutionized the instrumentation industry! With this system integrating perfectly with Dakota Digital's BIM Series of expansion modules, up to 16 additional readouts (ie: Boost, Oil Temp, etc.) can be added seamlessly. Water Temperature - 1/8" NPT, ground isolated sensor with a 10 ft harness. Oil Pressure - 1/8" NPT solid state sensor with a 10 ft harness. Cable Drive Speed Sensor/Generator - Replaces GM style speedometer cables with a 10 ft harness (Tremec and Ford style adapters available upon request). Bushings - Each kit comes with 1/8" to 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" NPT bushings along with bushings for 12mm and 16mm x 1.5 threads. Calibration Pushbutton - Dakota Digital instruments are programmed and operated by the push of a button. Simply mount the included pushbuttons supplied with your gauges in a convenient and easily accessible location. These buttons are used to calibrate your speedometer, set the cylinder count and the fuel level gauge. Once properly configured these same buttons are used to access the wealth of information located in the Digital Message Centers. More info about this system and pics are available below. Only two drivers have ever managed four titles on the trot before him: Juan Manuel Fangio (1953-58) and Michael Schumacher (with five in a row between 2000-2005). Frenchman Alain Prost is the only other driver to have taken four F1 world titles – but no-one’s managed the feat as fast as Seb.

Thu, 10 Oct 2013BCA’S LATEST Pulse report shows that average values rose in January following the disruption caused by the Arctic conditions and shorter trading period in December. The volume of vehicles being traded also increased – not surprisingly very significantly when compared to December, but also by 10% year on year. Vehicles from both the fleet & lease and part-exchange sectors recorded notable value improvements and part-exchange values reached record levels.
